The North Shore decals arrived today, and I THOUGHT I had the body shell painted and ready to go. Looking at it this morning I see where the black lacquer bled back from some door edges and corners, so I've been "dobbin" edges with color trying to get them to cover. Whether I was successful or just gave up, I'm calling it good. I hate the current paint formulations. BAH!

The basic North Shore decals went on very nicely, and in this picture they are still wrinkled from the setting solution. Left to do are the number boards and some small data plates, then handrail painting. The whole feel of this locomotive is improved.
mph: It's time to call it a night when the parts you are gluing together stick to the mat, the drafting triangle you are using as a square, the piece of wood you are using for alignment but won't stick to themselves!
