Years ago I always hunted high and low for Bev-Bel paint jobs as the lettering and details in printing would always be cleaner and more complete. After finding this car I wondered if there is a site devoted to Bev-Bel's work many years ago, and yes there is:
Stopped by Zientek to buy KD148's but didn't realize that they only come in 2 and 25 pair packs. No worries though, the $20 and change I had in my pocket did not go to waste.
-Two exhausts that should be good-enough for the two Chicago Northwestern CNW C44-9W's I'm trying to repair. -I'm a sucker for $4 modern (longer than 40') trailers. -The Georgia Northeastern Hi Cube boxcar was purchased with the intent of patching it for Chicago Valley.
However, now I see that Georgia Northeastern is pretty darn rare in HO. The shop has more of these in other roads so if any of you guys want this one, I'll sell it for what I paid (9 or 10 bucks). I've built a couple of these in other roads. It's a basic kit. Molded on details, overall, a notch or two above Blue Box.
Picked this up at a train shop that I rarely frequent. They didn't have much I was interested in, but this caught my eye on the 50% off shelf.
Ideal brand Oil Storage Depot.
The 3 sections have come loose of their base, but it's complete and one of the lights still works!
I really just bought it to make a couple of rooftop water towers though. I'll probably separate the various items when I get some buildings on the layout.
It is a rather neat old kit with the original box though, so as with the rare Georgia Northeastern boxcar I showed earlier, if someone sees its as in some way valuable to their collection, I'll happily sell it on for what I paid ($5) plus shipping.

umpdan31: JadeFog: i found a brand new in the box ConCor PRR mail car. Although the ones that I already have are all heavyweights with 6 wheel trucks, this one is a lightweight with 4 wheel trucks. I also picked up a few assorted couplers. Glad he was open again.

umpdan31: The mail car was 10 bucks. Not bad for a brand new car.
