Our generous friend NickelPlate recognized my SF obsession, and sent me this early Christmas present:
I added the tank, weight and handrails from a junker. This is by far the best running MU-2 powered Tyco I own, and I can't thank him enough. I've got a little paint touch up to do on the other side, and it needs couplers, but I'll get that taken care of soon. This one's going to get some runtime. I've got a couple other things on the way, but let's see what shows up at everyone else's doorstep!!

...From Frankenstein. That funky orange crane and 2 classic MDC and Varney ore jennies arrived today. The one is already in an alcohol bath to remove the hand brushed drippy paint, and the Varney needs to be disassembled to do the same. The crane boom needs some TLC before hitting the paint booth.I saw this thread after having divided up the materiel to their respective chopping blocks and alcohol vats. I'll have to attach photos tomorrow.
A box arrived from...Brazil today (as in Indiana). Well, a few days ago, but I managed to get a group shot, minus the house - which will eventually make an appearance on my layout.
The Tyco box trailer must have been Randy's at one time - it has white paint slathered over Union Pacific.
Lots of great rehab/kitbash stuff here...but NO donor cars!
When you deal mostly with used stuff like I do, you invariably come across some strange modeling features that someone, somewhere thought was a good idea. The nice looking San-Taffy Heavyweight Diner is amazingly complete, just needs a minor rehab on the outside....but day-glo lime green paint on the inside of the windows. Hmmmmmm.....
PS - speaking of Randy, I got a box from him too a day or so before this one! Will have to be re-boxed though for a pic later lol.

wks: None of the football teams adopted the Baby Shark theme song. Perhaps that song would give the same good luck that it gave a certain baseball team in Washington to propel them to champions.

wks: Hapless teams like the Browns Lions Jets should look into that good luck song.

wks: Imagine how the opposing team feels if the home team blasts that song on their stadium's deep sub woofer speakers at full volume.

wks: Jerry Jones is contemplating using that song at his new Texas Stadium or whatever that stadium is called.

JNXT 7707: I'm pulling for the Chiefs, Jim. After the way they demolished the Titans after falling behind 24-0 or whatever it was, I think they are on a mission. Should be a good one either way.
